Holy Spirit, Help Me!

If you are a regular follower of this blog, then you will notice a bit of a change for the next 8 weeks. I am serving as a table leader for an 8 week Freedom Workshop. If you'd like to follow along, you can find the resources at the link directly above. Also, I will post here, the daily Bible reading assignment (heartwork) so you can read along. This workshop has been a life changer for me so I'm eager to share it with others. May you be blessed!

BIBLE READING HEARTWORK
Week 1 - Day 5
Romans 8; Psalm 5

Romans 8:26
And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness.

Holy Spirit, I know that you are always ready, willing, and able to help me. But I am not your puppet. And you are a perfect gentleman. You will never force your help or will on me. Therefore, if I want your help, I must remember to turn from my sinful nature and ask for it.

Romans 8:3
But if through the power of the Holy Spirit, you turn from it and its evil deeds, you will live.

I have to humble myself and admit my need. Holy Spirit, I give you permission to help me turn from my sinful nature and its evil deeds. Help me to remember to ask for your help in every detail of my life. I know that you are just waiting for me to ask.

Psalm 5:8
Lead me in the right path, O LORD,
or my enemies will conquer me.
Make your way plain for me to follow.

In Jesus' name, amen.
