You Deserve My Wholehearted Obedience

Numbers 32:10-12

Then the Lord was very angry with them, and he vowed, "Of all those I rescued from Egypt, no one who is twenty years old or older will ever see the land I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, for they have not obeyed me wholeheartedly. The only exceptions are Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua son of Nun, for they have wholeheartedly followed the Lord."

Lord, those people were not allowed to enter the promised land because they failed to trust you. As a result they did not obey you wholeheartedly. Lord, there are times when I fear, times when I'm gripped by near panic. I'm so glad that I can run to you in those times and you comfort me and still my soul. I want to follow you with my whole heart. I don't ever want to fail to obey you wholeheartedly.

You know my heart better than I. Please search it for any wrong motives or duplicity. Show me if there is anything there that needs to be changed, then please help me to change it. In Jesus' name, amen. <3

MEMORY VERSE
Philippians 4:8
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
Philippians 4:8

Psalm 37:3-5
Trust in the LORD and do good.
Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.
Take delight in the LORD,
and he will give you your heart's desires.
Commit everything you do to the LORD.
Trust him, and he will help you.
Psalm 37:3-5
