Thank You, Lord, For Hearing Me!

If you are a regular follower of this blog, then you will notice a bit of a change for the next 8 weeks. I am serving as a table leader for an 8 week Freedom Workshop. If you'd like to follow along, you can find the resources at the link directly above. Also, I will post here, the daily Bible reading assignment (heartwork) so you can read along. This workshop has been a life changer for me so I'm eager to share it with others. May you be blessed!

BIBLE READING HEARTWORK
Week 6 - Day 2
1 John 5; Psalm 119:41-48

1 John 5:14-15
And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.

Thank you, Lord, for hearing me and giving me what I asked for! Does this mean that you will help me to raise the money for Team Freedom? I would so love to do my part to help people who are enslaved.

Lord, last night was so amazing!! Thank you for allowing me to have a small part in leading D to you! I so loved seeing her beautiful smile after she prayed to receive you. Please help her and her husband to get into a good church so she can be discipled and learn to live for you. Give her a passion for your word so that her faith can grow.

Lord, it was wonderful how quickly you provided for us yesterday. You are so awesome! I was so excited when I found that check in the mail. Then you humbled me when J gave that money to us. This was a real eye opener. We have GOT to get on a budget and stick to it. Lord, please help me to get one set up today. In Jesus' name, amen. <3

FREEDOM WORKSHOP VERSES
1 Peter 4:12-13
Dear friends, don't be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad - because these trials will make you partners with Christ in his suffering, and afterward you will have the wonderful joy of sharing his glory when it is displayed to all the world.
1 Peter 4:12-13

Romans 6:16
Don't you realize that whatever you choose to obey becomes your master? You can choose sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God and receive his approval.
Romans 6:16

MEMORY VERSES
James 1:12-15
God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, "God is tempting me." God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else. Temptation comes from our own desires which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.
James 1:12-15
